Like a sunflower
The sunflower gazes toward the sun,
following as it moves across the sky through the day,
reaching, growing in the warmth.
So, we too can follow our sun, the spiritual light,
as Christ, Truth, moves in our consciousness,
shining inspiration, drawing us nearer.
We stretch toward our Father-Mother God,
basking in the warmth of all-encompassing Love,
delighting in the brilliance of eternal Soul,
the consciousness of infinite Mind unfolding to us all goodness
as we turn toward it—the eternal source of the universe,
caring for each of us, never dimming, in one unending day.
