Sweet innocence
Here I am,
at the door.
I welcome in sweet innocence.
I am immersed in the joy of Your purity.
Divine Love uplifts the thought of innocence.
Here I am,
letting go of my plan,
my self-will,
my . . . everything “my.”
Rigid conformity, prejudices fade.
Clarity and receptiveness are real
in the perfect glow of unselfed love.
Here I am.
Help me, O Lord, to claim my
sweet innocence,
to be Your expression of grace,
which evermore is.
