Burn healed and singing voice recovered

I have had so many healings through my study and practice of Christian Science, but here are two I would particularly like to share.

One happened a long time ago, when I had two young children. I was about to bathe them before bed and went to light the oil heater to warm the room, completely forgetting that I had already lit the heater some time ago.

The pain in my burned hand from grasping the metal funnel was intense, and in agony I cried out to God to help me. The words “You can never be out of the presence of God” came to me. As I contemplated and accepted the truth of these words, it was as if someone had drawn aside a curtain and everything was aglow with light and harmony. The pain vanished, and I felt instantly better. There were no blisters or scars, and I bathed the children and put them to bed.
