Just when needed
[Donna Haynes, “Not seeing eye to eye?” Sentinel, February 5, 2001]
The ideas in this article are appropriate no matter where in our parent-child relationship we are. I read the article just when I needed “a listening ear” and somewhere to turn for fresh input.

Power of prayer
[TeenConnect, Heidi Kleinsmith Salter, “Can prayer stop a bully?” cssentinel.com, January 19, 2021]
This is a great example of the power of prayer. If it can bring healing in a school situation, it can bring healing to a nation’s situation. Since God—divine Mind, Love—is All, then all, including elected officials, are under the control of this divine Principle.

Heaviness Lifted
The January 11, 2021, editorial, “True self-care” (Larissa Snorek), grabbed me at exactly the right moment. Instead of passing it by to complete a list of tasks, I paused, remembered that true health is based on true consciousness, and read it—and the entire issue. What a pick-me-up! Mental heaviness lifted, burdens lightened, and with this came a sense of blessing—of “God with me.”
