“Spiritually based immunity” by Jürgen Kurt Stark in the November 30, 2020, issue is an excellent reminder of how important it is to avoid having “our consciousness animated by material-
mindedness.” Stark’s reminder to stay focused on the life and works of Christ Jesus is very helpful, and I’m trying to follow this.

Feeling more blessed and loved
Tony Lobl’s editorial, “What do we truly want?” in the September 14, 2020, Sentinel just hit the spot for me.
So often when I wake up in the morning, I think, “What do You, Father, have for me today?” And I’m truly amazed at God’s “infinite resources with which to bless mankind” (Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 60). Where once I would have been hoping for good things to happen to me—a selfish outlook—I’m now thinking more along the lines of “Whom can I be helping today? What good can I do for others?” And, yes, I’m feeling more blessed and loved by my heavenly Father-Mother.
What makes me so grateful is that more and more, I’m exchanging “the pleasures and pains of sense for the joys of Soul” (Science and Health, p. 390).
