Child healed of fever and convulsions

One day when our son was a toddler, he was running a high fever and started having convulsions. I was very fearful and called a Christian Science practitioner for help through prayer. She was several states away, but I knew the distance didn’t matter because God is everywhere. The ever-present and supreme power of God was the foundation of her prayer.

The practitioner spoke to me of God’s, divine Love’s, tender care for His children, calming my fears and assuring me of our son’s well-being and inseparability from the divine Mind. She emphasized that each of us is indissolubly connected to God.

By the time I hung up the phone ten minutes later, the fever was gone and our son had fallen into a natural sleep. I took him upstairs and laid him on his bed.
