Not neglecting my thoughts
At this moment,
where are my thoughts:
in a “far country,” 1
in a “fiery furnace” 2
?
Then an angel shouts,
Catch them, bring them home.
Your heavenly Mother,
always ready to console,
takes care of them all.
My self-enclosed mind opens wide
to the warmth
of Her embrace.
At this moment,
how are my thoughts:
wise and fresh, brave and bold,
in love and purity clothed?
Then an angel whispers,
Let them soar
with healing grace.
Christ will find amazing ways
to have them meet the heart’s great needs
both far and near.
