“Nor become a sluggard in the race”*
What is your goal?
And what is your race?
Are you guided by Soul?
Does Love set the pace?
Do you think you are hindered
when Truth you’d obey?
Know God is your guide,
your map of the way.
The Commandments are rules
that dictate our race.
Follow them always
to feel divine grace.
The goal is not measured
by distance or length.
This Truth makes us joyful,
and Spirit’s our strength.
Let’s not be a sluggard.
Let’s go for God’s gold.
With persistent faith,
to God’s standard, we’ll hold.
