Family healed of flu symptoms

Our family of five had a most beautiful healing of flu symptoms that shows the mental nature of a virus.

After church one Sunday, I decided to invite children from our Sunday School and their families for dinner the following Sunday night. On the Thursday before this event, two of my three children were not feeling well, showing symptoms of what appeared to be the flu. That evening my husband came home from work not feeling well. Keeping my thought tuned in to God for healing as well as guidance, I felt confident of God’s healing power. So the next morning I went ahead with my plans to make a big pot of spaghetti sauce for our upcoming dinner party. Well, one of the symptoms of this particular type of flu was nausea, and wouldn’t you know, as the sauce cooked, the smell of it made me more and more nauseous. 

For a number of months leading up to this, I had been relishing a study assignment given by the Christian Science teacher with whom I had taken Christian Science class instruction the previous year. The subject was revelation, and I reveled in learning all I could on the topic. I am sure that this underpinned my prayer as I continued caring for my family.
