Kitten healed of severe injuries

One morning after leaving for work, my husband and daughter hadn’t been gone for more than ten minutes when they were back and our daughter came bursting through the front door saying: “There is a kitten inside this bag that has just been run over by a car! Dad and I have to get to work as soon as possible, so you’ll have to pray and take care of things.” This wasn’t how I had expected my day to start.

They later told me that as they were stopped at a red light, they saw someone in a car ahead of them throw a bag out the window, and the car directly behind it had been unable to avoid running over the bag. Thankfully, my daughter noticed that there was some movement in the bag, and she got out of the car and picked it up. Back in the car, she looked inside and saw a kitten that looked to be no more than a week old. The kitten, particularly the rear part of his body, was in bad shape.

I’d always found prayer to be the best medicine when our own pets were unwell, so I was confident that prayer would be effective in this case and that I could trust this little kitten to God’s tender care.
