This was such a timely and helpful article (Sharon Slaton Howell, “Be a peacemaker,” Sentinel, February 17, 2020), as I had been sensing the anger of political parties on both sides of the aisle after the impeachment proceedings concluded in Washington. I wondered if this divide could be bridged and harmony achieved in our nation—especially as the national elections approach. I had been praying along the lines of the ideas put forth in this excellent article, but it was such a wonderful thing to see a whole article devoted to the subject in such a helpful and realistic way. Thank you!
