You’re in the ark
As I was sitting in traffic the other day, praying about the COVID-19 crisis, I began to think of a time centuries ago.
A flood was coming that would destroy all known life on earth. Noah, a man who loved God, had the spiritual perception to understand that it was coming. He was told by God to build an ark that would save his family as well as a pair of each of the creatures available to him.
Guided by God, he built this large ship for him, his family, and the animals, so that when the flood came, they could go into it and be safe (see Genesis, chaps. 6–8). Thinking about this, I asked myself, “Is there any place today where people are safe?” And the thought immediately came, “In the ark, of course!”
