Lost and found sheep: A life revised
I have learned in my life that no matter how painful or tricky the past might seem, we can still live a healthy, peaceful life, free of worry or shame, when we discover and hold on to the enduring goodness of God, divine Love.
All too often, we make mistakes. Then, as we go forward in life, perhaps holding on to regrets, one of our wings may try to soar toward the heavens, but our other wing, broken, beats downward, and we fall. In order for us to reach heaven, harmony, the broken wing must be healed so that both wings can fly in rhythm for an upward flight.
Many of us may try to hide our broken wing and not let others know that we are going through a private storm of loneliness, doubt, and darkness. But I’ve discovered that even in the middle of that storm there is a quiet place in consciousness where we can find peace. This quiet place is like a jewel, and although it may be hidden in the midst of chaos, it is always available for anyone to find.
