[Turning Points In Spiritual Growth, Elaina Simpson, “Never far from home: How I broke free from fear and chronic ailments,” Sentinel, March 4, 2019]
I’m grateful for this article for many reasons. In the past couple of years, I have been away from home (not just my house, but my country) for long periods at a time—currently three months—which has at times made me feel very lonely. So the last paragraph is very helpful where it says, “Home is not limited to a building or a place on a map. Our specific dwelling only modestly represents God’s spiritual home.”
I’m especially happy I could even read this article from the middle of the Pacific on a remote island so far from home. I don’t often get enough of a satellite signal, so this was a special treat!
