Sudden illness healed
Early last year, my husband and I went for an evening walk. We enjoyed doing this together on a daily basis and had a regular route. This time we decided it might be fun to jog and try to get home faster. When we first began to run, I noticed a sharp pain in my lower abdomen, and I started to walk. When we were about halfway through our regular route, the pain was spreading throughout other parts of my body.
I told my husband that I wasn’t feeling right. I was affirming simple spiritual truths to myself, such as that my true being was spiritual and could express only harmony. By the time we reached our home, I couldn’t stand up straight and could hardly walk, so my husband had to help me get inside.
Initially, because of the intensity of the symptoms, I was filled with fear. I was trying as best as I could to stay calm, but I was not seeing progress and was doubting my ability to experience healing.
