Much to think and pray about
[Madeline Cassidy, “ ‘Citizens … of the household of God,’ ” Sentinel, December 10, 2018]
This article is really helpful to me. I, too, have been troubled the past couple of years by the complexities of immigration and the seeming inability of our lawmakers to deal with it instead of being tied up by divisive issues. The real answer, of course, is not with politics. This will give me much to think and pray about.

Awakened me
Thank you so much to Camille Yang for her beautiful article “The best self-care: Turning to God” (Sentinel, December 3, 2018). She had such a new perspective and awakened me to this subtle argument that is bombarding us today. I loved her question, “Who or what is this ‘self’ that lacks care?” Right on!
It is great to have her article to reference and share with others who come into the Christian Science Reading Room.
