Just what I needed
[Rocha Mupayi Mbenza, “ ‘Fasting’ in times of economic crisis,” Sentinel, October 29, 2018]
This article has peace and power within it. The fresh approach from the heart of the author is inspiring to me and is just what I needed to read and contemplate.

Timely article
“Widening the scope of our prayers” by Christopher Wagstaff (Sentinel, October 15, 2018) was timely for readers in Australia. Mr. Wagstaff spoke of his desire to pray for the world’s children and then for refugees. He described how he went about this, surely inspiring many to pay attention to this need.
A little over two weeks after the publication of this article, the Australian government announced its intention to bring all refugee children remaining in offshore detention on Nauru and Manus Island into Australia by Christmas. I thank Mr. Wagstaff for his specificity and the editors for the timely publication of this article.
