Appointment of the Clerk of The Mother Church

The Christian Science Board of Directors

Dear Members and Friends,

We are very happy to let you know that Barbara Fife, CSB, of Vancouver, Canada, has assumed the office of Clerk of The Mother Church as of October 1, 2018. Barbara has served Church in many ways, as an active branch church member, a Christian Science practitioner and teacher, and a member of the Board of Lectureship. She will continue to teach and hold association in Vancouver, and will also retain her membership in First Church of Christ, Scientist, West Vancouver.

Barbara’s deep love of Christian Science, quiet metaphysical strength, and nurturing character will be great assets in the Clerk’s work of communicating with and supporting our worldwide membership. As she so well describes it: “To me, serving Church is about loving each other unconditionally and embracing the whole of mankind in this same love of God. It will be the greatest privilege to serve our Mother Church and Christian Science in this way.”
