The counterfeit of good is wrong,
not right; it must and will be gone,
   just as dark dissolves at dawn
or gloom gives way to joyous song;
no matter wrong’s supposed assail,
   it is ever doomed to fail,
since good’s light can never pale:
Principle’s truth and love prevail.
