Injuries from car accident healed
Over a year ago, while I was driving, my car was struck by a driver who turned in front of me. Knowing that I could never be outside God’s omnipotent care, I immediately declared, “I’m OK!” The car was totaled, and I was pulled out by a first responder and then taken to the hospital. My family met me there in force with words of encouragement.
I was diagnosed with a fractured neck vertebra. I called a Christian Science practitioner. Christian Science treatment is natural to me since I’ve been a Christian Scientist all my life. The practitioner and I prayed daily, declaring my unbroken relation to God as His spiritual idea. I knew from the truth Christian Science teaches that God is my Life.
I keep a journal, and looking back at it, I recorded daily healing progress. Church friends and neighbors supplied me with food and encouragement. I was told that it would be necessary to wear a neck brace for three months, but in ten days I felt completely confident that I could remove the brace, and I did so with no aftereffects. The model of perfection revealed through Christian Science—perfect God and perfect man—was renewed in my thought every day.
