Healed after a hard fall
I am so grateful to learn from the Bible that we all have the capability to challenge any difficulties we find ourselves in. This testimony is about learning a lesson, which taught me to always go about all my activities with a clear sense of the fact that I live in the kingdom of heaven. Christ Jesus told us that it is within our consciousness.
In Christian Science we learn that “all is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all.” This is from “the scientific statement of being” on page 468 of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. I had an instance of being able to see this truth more clearly several months ago when I slipped and fell.
One very helpful passage from Science and Health, which I have taken to heart, is what Mrs. Eddy wrote about accidents: “When an accident happens, you think or exclaim, ‘I am hurt!’ Your thought is more powerful than your words, more powerful than the accident itself, to make the injury real” (p. 397).
