Healed of crippling back pain
As an artist needing photos for new paintings, I had been invited to participate in a Western photo shoot at a ranch. It called for being constantly physically active for three days and evenings. I was looking forward to this activity and the opportunity to be outdoors.
The weekend proved to be a beautiful experience! However, when I arrived home and stepped out of the car, I collapsed, unable to move without excruciating pain. Surprised and dismayed at this dilemma, I was tempted to question what had happened to bring this on.
That temptation was quickly silenced by acknowledging a law of God, Love, identified in relation to exposure to fatigue, cold, heat, contagion: “God never punishes man for doing right, for honest labor, or for deeds of kindness …’’ (Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 384).
