Wonderful expression of hope
[“Silence the inner cynic,” Cheryl Ranson, October 3, 2016, Sentinel]
Thank you for a wonderful expression of hope. This election cycle is in need of such charitable thoughts and hopes.

So glad I read it!
While I enjoy every issue of the Sentinel, I particularly loved the September 19, 2016, issue. I almost did not read the article “Stay with Genesis 1” by Russell Jenkin, and I am so glad that I did! It provided a wonderful explanation of the “truth of the message of Genesis 1.” Also, the testimony “Hearing clearly again” by Ruth Gasser so resonated with me. I loved her reminder that “if we are tempted to be distracted from our prayerful work (which I was for a time) or to doubt our ability to heal what seems like a challenging or lingering problem, these are aggressive mental suggestions.” I will save this and reread it whenever I feel a bit discouraged.
With much gratitude for all of the contributors,
