Many answered prayers
In spite of all the challenges we may face, right here, right now, we can feel God’s presence when we turn to Him, divine Mind, for help. How I was longing for this understanding when faced with a number of problems years ago! One day, in my desperation, I cried, “God, help me!” and it was as if a voice said, loud and clear, “Try Christian Science.”
I knew very little about this religion, but that Sunday I went to a morning service at a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. I did not understand much, but I found such a sense of peace and love that I knew I would return again.
Several years earlier, my dear nephew had been sick with a serious disease and afterward had trouble controlling his behavior, which caused turmoil in the family. Searching for some stability in our lives and thinking that perhaps he, too, would feel this love, with his mother’s permission I brought him to the Christian Science Sunday School.
