The treasure of healing
Discovering gold couldn’t begin to compare to the valuable spiritual insights unfolding in my thought as I study Christian Science. Inspiration shines like a bright star as I turn to God in prayer.
Sometime ago, I was sitting quietly, trying to heal a painful infection in my leg. Suddenly it dawned on me that my leg had very little to do with the healing I was looking for. I realized that the health I was searching for was already established in divine Mind. This was an opportunity to learn more about God’s care for me and for all His creation, and I could expect to see this new understanding manifested in physical healing.
In “the scientific statement of being,” Mary Baker Eddy writes: “There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 468). I had heard and read those words many times before, but now they made sense to me in a new way. Never had they seemed dearer; never had their meaning been more significant.
