Wonderful article

I love the way Daniel was able to put “what I think I should do” into God’s hands. It is amazing how God knows what we need and supplies it in abundance. Daniel has certainly demonstrated this in his life! Wonderful article, and we should all be listening for God’s direction, knowing it is better than what we can do “on our own.”

Of course, that includes Herb’s report. It would be difficult to overstate the value of this spiritual treasure-trove. And, of course, I share his gratitude for all the work being done to bring us this treasure. It makes an immense difference in the quality of my life experience. What a joy to know it makes an immense difference for good to many thousands, perhaps millions, of people on this planet.

Helped me pray

This morning I read the unsettling news that an attempt by United States forces to rescue an American photojournalist failed, and he was killed. He was about the same age as my own son, who is safe in his home in California. This article is helping me pray for all our children, no matter who they belong to.

God is never absent. God never fails. That young man is truly safe in God’s kingdom. I pray for his family to find peace.
