'The ancient Christians were healers'*
Oh to be an ancient Christian
ancient as in pristine—
simple, uncomplicated,
natural, pure,
honest, unfallen,
clean.
Watched by the Shepherd,
washed by the Shepherd,
the ancient healers were meek, like sheep,
but mighty in their trust in God.
Let us all be Christian healers
not defined by sect or creed
but by word and deed!
—Madora Kibbe
