In this occasional series, individuals share how taking Christian Science Primary class instruction has strengthened their spiritual understanding, and brought increasing inspiration and healing to their lives.
The amplitude of God's love
My family came into Christian Science through my mother being healed of a condition known as “blue baby” caused by bronchial asthma. As a result of that healing, many family members became Christian Scientists.
One of my great-aunts also served as a Christian Science practitioner. So it was natural for me to want to further my spiritual growth and understanding by taking class instruction.
When I turned 19, I applied for class and my teacher lovingly accepted me. The 12-day course was truly a spiritual feast! The one Mind was evident in the cohesive unity among our classmates, and my understanding of the infallible, provable healing Christ, Truth, was strengthened.
