A healing just between me and God
I went to overnight camp for the first time when I was seven years old, and I loved being there. My parents were really loving and sent me care packages. One of the packages had a little photo album that said “People Who Love You” on it.
One night I woke up with an earache. I couldn’t sleep and it really hurt. I was scared. Then I had the thought, “Open that little album!” I know it was a thought from God. I opened the album, and after looking at the first picture, I laughed a little at the silly face I was making in the picture and I felt a lot better. After looking at all of the pictures of my family and friends, I felt love all around me. I knew God was with me. God never leaves you alone or scared.
