From limping to running
One evening, as I stood talking with my daughter in the kitchen, I noticed a slight pain in my left leg. I didn’t give it much thought, but by the time I went to bed that night, the pain was more noticeable. The next morning, though I could go up and down stairs, the pain had increased.
I had to drive three hours to another city to attend a conference. As I drove, I listened to the Bible Lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly and hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal Supplement. About two hours into the drive, when I stopped at a rest area, it was difficult to get out of the car, and I was beginning to walk with a limp.
