‘I knew God was in control’
I was born in Colombia, South America, and remember that at an early age, I was looking for more in religion. Going to church was important, but I always had an empty feeling in my heart. I knew there was more than I was getting.
When I came to the United States, my search continued. I visited many churches and read many books in the hope of finding what I was looking for.
Then, a friend from work gave me a copy of Science and Health, and when I read the chapter on prayer, I knew I had found what I was looking for. My friend invited me to her church, and there I found the most wonderful group of loving people. One very special lady embraced me and offered to answer any questions I had, and that was the beginning of my life changing.
