Tall tales

A military couple decided to send their five year-old son to Sunday School—he’d never been before.

When he returned home, they asked him if he’d enjoyed it. He said, “Yes, especially the part about Moses’ army fleeing from the Egyptian troops. When they came to the Red Sea, the Egyptians were closing in. So Moses radioed the navy fleet close by, and they bombed the Egyptians and carried Moses and his army safely across.” His dad said, “Are you sure that’s the way your teacher told it?” “No,” he said, “but if I told it like she did, you wouldn’t believe it.”
