Something evil in my inbox? Not so fast!
Earlier this year, I got my very own new computer. I was so happy! One day, when I was online, a message suddenly opened by itself in my e-mails! It was a virus. It came from a boy who had e-mailed me before and threatened to send me this virus. And now he had done it! I was really upset.
I talked with my mom about it. She said that a virus seems to be powerful, but only if you accept the thought that there is a power separate from God, able to cause bad things. This made sense to me. I saw that it’s less important to fight against some outward form of evil than it is to defend against the wrong thinking behind it.
In Sunday School we often talk about how God is good and God is All-in-all. So evil cannot be real. This was an opportunity to prove this.
