My Christmas healing

Last Christmas, my family went on a skiing vacation. On the first night we were there, I started not feeling well. My tummy was hurting. I felt like I was going to throw up. I was in bed and crying. My aunt came in to help me. I asked my aunt to get my mommy. Then my mom came in and she started praying for me. She talked to me about the 23rd Psalm. We talked about what it meant that God was my Shepherd. I liked thinking that I was the sheep and God was guiding and protecting me. Mom also sang hymns to me. She sang “Shepherd, show me . . .” (Mary Baker Eddy, Poems, p. 14) to the tune of Edelweiss. I finally fell asleep. In the morning, I told my mom it was over and I was thankful God healed me. Then I went to ski school and played in the snow with my cousin. I had a great Christmas!
