Refuse to want

"Resist," said James, so ...

I won't allow,
nurture,
or entertain in thought
a mortal will, a blind and stubborn lack—
a gnawing wish for tasteful morsels not at hand.

A god-of-want is will's disguise–a trickster hypnotist
that would keep my heart's desire just out of reach.

"Draw nigh," James said, and ...

I awaken,
reach out,
and tenderly embrace
the All-in-all's real, ever-present gift—
my limitless substance specifically defined.

There is no want in Love's domain—just precision good
that's always present in my Mind, and functioning.
