Choose!

Fenella Bennetts

Do I face it
     or just go with it?
Dare to challenge
     or go with the flow of it?
Be uprising
     or stay in bed?
Show my mettle
     or hide my head?
Stand unmoved
     or turn and run?
Live in shadow 
     or face the sun?
I'll take my stand
      with God's own Word,
His supremacy
     as my sword.
I'll wear my armor
     like a glove,
Fitting panoply
     of perfect Love,
And as darkness
     yields to light
Find I'm perfect
     in His sight.
