FINGER QUICKLY HEALED AFTER SEVERE CUT

I'm extremely grateful for the effectiveness of turning to God for healing, whatever the situation.

A few years ago I'd been complaining in my workplace that, as a bachelor, I was eating at restaurants too much and not cooking enough at home. A co-worker very kindly gave me a recipe for a dish that included sliced potatoes, and also gave me a small hand-held potato slicer. She made a point of letting me know to be extremely careful not to catch a finger in the slicer, because it was very sharp.

That evening as I tried out the recipe for dinner and used the slicer, I remembered the warning, but also rather arrogantly thought that I wouldn't ever be clumsy enough to catch my finger in it. Sure enough, however, as I kept slicing the potato and got near the blade, I did just that. When I looked down, I saw that I had cut off the tip of one of my fingers. It was bleeding heavily, and I quickly covered it.
