Casting the prayer-net wide at work

I am deeply grateful for God and all His goodness, and for the spiritual lessons I recently learned. The following experience helped me recognize that job creation (demand) is an expression of divine Mind. When we pray and advance spiritually, we are demonstrating true "promotion" (or supply) for that demand.

For several years I'd been feeling frustrated in my career in the investment advisory field, and felt there was a lack of professional opportunities and progression at work. It seemed that my company promoted people infrequently, and whenever career-advancing opportunities did arise, I felt I was systematically overlooked and not considered for advancement.

In addition to not getting promoted, I found my position as a financial advisor to be very narrow and limited in scope. I couldn't decide whether to just be grateful for employment, given the state of the economy, or to try to find an alternative to my current job.
