God's love for me
I woke up in the middle of the night and started coughing. I went into my parents' room because I couldn't breathe easily, and I got really scared. I thought I was going to throw up, but I didn't.
I was walking around trying to breathe. Then my mom pulled me into her lap in her chair, and started singing a hymn I know from Sunday School. It's by Mary Baker Eddy and starts "O gentle presence, peace and joy and power" (Christian Science Hymnal, Hymn 207). As soon as my mom started singing, I started to feel more comfortable and peaceful.
I remembered that God is Love, and that He loves me, and won't let anything hurt His children. I fell asleep right away. When I woke up in the morning, I was fine. I was really excited and happy that I had been healed.
