LETTERS
I wish to express my appreciation for Rick Lipsey's article "Marathon miles" in the November 16, 2009, Sentinel ["The power of gratitude"], which brought inspiration and healing to our family. One evening, my daughter was suffering from flu-like symptoms. I sang hymns to her while she fell asleep, and then started reading the Sentinel. I paused when I read the sentence "Nothing could inhibit the activity of Love." I reasoned there was nothing—no disease or illness—that could prevent the activity of Love, God, or Love's expression—my daughter. After pondering this, I knew my daughter was fine. When she woke up the next morning, she indeed was completely healed, and asked me, "What was that last night?"
I replied, "It was nothing!"
