HOME IS WHERE WE PARK IT

SEVEN YEARS ago, my husband and I took a delightful camping trip to Cape Breton in Nova Scotia. We noticed the folks in their RVs, and the lifestyle really appealed to us. We thought, "There's more to life than taking care of property and possessions! There are family and friends to visit, a beautiful country to see, and the freedom to lend a helping hand to those we meet wherever and whenever it's needed." After each camping trip, we'd always wished we could stay out longer. Downsizing to an RV would let us do just that.

My husband and I didn't want to rush ahead with human will, though. I'd learned that prayer and listening for God's guidance are essential in any big decision. We wanted to listen to God and be sure it was right to sell our house and move into an RV full time. So, we began cherishing this potential move, reading numerous books on RVs, and researching different models on the Internet.

I also started spiritually preparing for what would be a big change. I read the Bible through for the first time, in one year, and committed myself to reading Science and Health and the other writings of Mary Baker Eddy on a continual basis.
