LETTERS

I was really taken by an example that Fenella Bennetts used in her article "A spiritual eye for beauty" in the July 20 & 27 issue when she said: "I remember reading about a school that each day took its young pupils outside for 20 minutes of cloud-watching. As a result, there was a marked improvement in the quality of their work in the classroom." What a fantastic suggestion for all teachers!

In that same issue, I also enjoyed Cameron Martindell's article "beyond facades" when he was interviewed by Kim Shippey regarding the "beauty he's absorbed during his worldwide travels." Cameron's photography was fabulous.

Also, I certainly liked Rachel Crandell's sharing of her personal story: "Loaves, fishes, and ... cherry tomatoes." How precious of her to share such a touching experience about her family when they faced a time of extreme need!
