A CLEAR-CUT PATH
"I must be about my Father's business" (Luke 2:49). Those six words defined the most influential career the world has ever seen. Jesus was only 12 when he spoke them, and yet he already knew without a doubt that God defined his life.
Wouldn't we all love to be as sure of our own life-purpose?
The good news is, we can be. The talents and special abilities each of us has to share are in fact spiritual and God-derived. As such, they cannot be deterred. Mary Baker Eddy gave sound counsel for tapping into those resources. She wrote, "We should examine ourselves and learn what is the affection and purpose of the heart, for in this way only can we learn what we honestly are" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 8).
