THE TENDED GARDEN
The seed of spiritual awakening,
planted
in the soil of consciousness
fertile with hope
and expectancy,
watered
with the ever-flowing
ideas of Mind,
sunned
by the ever-rising
light of Truth,
breaks through
the hardened crust
of thought unhumbled.
Staunchly defended
against the entangling weeds of
fear, doubt, guilt, and pain,
this seedling branches upward
'til it
bears the fruit
of peace, wholeness, health.
