My 4 steps of prayer

I've been playing the violin for four years, and I love it. Learning to play the violin is not easy. There's a lot of practicing involved. When things are difficult, I often pray about it using four steps of prayer that my Sunday School teacher told me about.

For me, the best way to get rid of fear is to think about God as all-powerful and always with me. I know there is nothing to be afraid of because infinite Love is filling all space. My teacher explained to me that fear can be thought of as "false evidence appearing real." It's kind of like looking at yourself in one of those funny carnival mirrors. It might look like something is wrong with you, but the mirror is just trying to trick you. Everything is really OK.

If I think that I won't be able to play a piece well, even though I've been practicing, I know that this is not true because my ability comes from God. We are not limited. Since there are no limits on God's ability, there are no limits on our ability. That helped me know that I could always get better. I was never stuck.
