REGAINED USE OF ARM AND LEG

A couple of years ago, I had to spend a lot of time in bed or in a chair resting. I didn't have much energy or strength. Sometimes when I'd walk across the room or down the hall, one of my legs would completely give way, and I would fall. Also, one of my arms would occasionally become useless, including the hand. I couldn't hold anything, type, or play the piano.

I've always relied on Christian Science for healing, and as I prayed, I was inspired by something a Christian Science practitioner once told me. He said that whenever anything discordant happened to me, I should not admit anything on the wrong side, but instantly declare that only good was going on and that there would be a blessing in disguise.

So I looked for things to be grateful for. I was grateful for my husband's care—that he was able to assist me in getting up and caring for my needs. Each time I needed to walk, he was there to lift me up out of the chair or bed and give me the necessary support.
