Thank you for the editorial, "A thought-model worth buying into," in the Sentinel of February 16 ("Freedom from contagion"). The editorial addresses the marketing of the Christ-message, and is inspiring.
Our local TV station has raised an argument that is now a subject of public debate in my country: Is religion today impelled by a motive of material gain?
In my view, those who follow the Christ-message must guard against compromising the desire to experience the transforming power of Truth by using whatever material means they perceive to be necessary in gaining happiness.
