ARM PERMANENTLY HEALED
My study of Christian Science has taught me the value of being spiritually alert and watching every thought. Mary Baker Eddy explained the importance of this in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures: "Stand porter at the door of thought. Admitting only such conclusions as you wish realized in bodily results, you will control yourself harmoniously" (p. 392).
The following healing showed me how important this thought-watching is. About nine years ago, one of my forearms suddenly became painful. I prayed as I usually do, striving to see the spiritual facts about my being, but the pain and diminished mobility persisted. So I called a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me.
