'It could happen for me, too. . . .'
I WAS enjoying working as the Reading Room librarian for First Church of Christ, Scientist, Nairobi, Kenya. I was going to school at the same time and looking for a job in my field of study.
In a day at the Reading Room, I would usually have more than four people who would come in wanting to know what Christian Science was about. They wanted to know the benefits. Some of them were isolated from their families or were looking for a job. One person's example helped me see that I too, could find employment in my field of study.
A man came in who had been in prison. His family and friends didn't want him back. He asked for enough money for transportation. But I knew that God had a plan for him, and I could do something more than give him money.
