GOD WAS RIGHT THERE
One Sunday I was at the park with my grandma and my two sisters. My sister Morgan and I were kicking a small plastic block on the cement path. We were playing "keep away," when I slipped and fell. My foot really hurt, and I couldn't get up. I was crying really hard.
My grandma knelt beside me and told me there was a divine Presence right with me. She said if I was quiet, I could feel God healing me. I stopped crying, but I didn't want to put my shoe back on or stand up. Grandma said, "God is with you, Reid, and He'll walk along right beside you all the way home." All of a sudden, the pain was gone, and Grandma slipped my shoe on. And all the way home she talked to me about God and about other healings I'd had.
I was really glad about this healing because the next day football practice was starting and I wanted to be there for my team.
